This thesis examines game prototyping within the game development process, focusing on identifying and experimenting with effective prototyping methods.  A playable prototype for a game called "Slurppi" was developed for Meizi Games.  The thesis analyzes the project's progression, referencing various sources, and emphasizes the importance of a lightweight prototyping approach, accurate data interpretation, and tailoring methods to individual project needs.  The goal is to provide insights into prototyping approaches and common pitfalls, encouraging developers to find the most suitable methods for their specific projects rather than simply replicating existing solutions.
